Fees
My fee for the standard 50 minute hour is $100. I suggest giving more time to our initial meeting interview and when working with couples. Payment is due at the beginning of each session unless other arrangements are made. I provide receipts to submit to your insurance or cafeteria plan for possible reimbursement.
Sliding Scale
Fees may be negotiated on a limited basis and are reviewed periodically.
Confidentiality
All of our discussions are held to the strictest ethic of confidentiality and will not be disclosed or acknowledged without your specific written consent. The only exception is regarding intent to harm yourself or another, elder or child abuse, or a medical emergency. In this kind of situation we'd discuss in detail the information and to whom it is being reported.
Phone Sessions
When distance makes meeting in person difficult or not possible, phone sessions work surprisingly well. It sharpens the focus on the task of putting your thoughts and feelings into words.
I request 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment without charge.
